It explores an untraveled route where the saxophone meets the sitar, the sarod embraces the violin and the trumpet befriends the flute. The dhak of Bengal (also depicted by the “eyes of Durga”) woos the Latin American cajon while the pakhavaj and ghatam add to the romance. A combination of bright and earthy colors also depicts a fusion of eastern and western music influences. The overall artwork is in the form of a musical road which will be traveled by the listeners of this music.
